Nigerian Police Force Visits NBC DG

A delegation of the Nigerian Police Force led by the DIG, Head ICT, Folorunsho Adebanjo paid a courtesy call on the Commission. The DG, Mall. Is’haq Modibbo Kawu, welcomed the delegation and expressed his appreciation on the role of the police in our society. He also encouraged the Nigerian Police force to continue with the good work in protecting lives and properties.
 
He commended the continuous growth of the police in terms of intellectual content and capacity, thereby noting that the level of respect the Nigerian Police has outside Nigeria is amazing.
Going forward he added that institutions like the NBC, need to have better knowledge about the Nigerian Police force, and the Commission is ready to share experiences and help the work of the Police.
The DG, explained to the delegation the categories of licenses available, pointing out that the process for obtaining a license will be duly followed.
 
He further stated that it is good for the NBC when institutions like the Nigerian Police force use TV and radio platforms to create security awareness, and assured the delegation of the Commission’s cooperation towards the establishment of the Nigerian Police radio Station.
