The Ambassador of the State of Palestine, His Excellency Saleh A.Fhied paid a courtesy visit on the DG, NBC, Mall. Is’haq Modibbo Kawu on the 1st of February, 2017. Welcoming His Excellency, the DG, NBC noted that Saleh A. Fhied was the first Ambassador to visit the Commission.
The DG also gave a brief run-down of the Commission’s activities and where we are on the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting which is a world-wide phenomenon. The Ambassador, Saleh A. Fhied, while stating the purpose of his visit, said he was glad to be at the NBC and congratulated the DG on his appointment and commended him for the work he is doing in the broadcast industry. He also used the opportunity to thank the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari for establishing a relationship between Palestine and Nigeria since 1985.
He therefore wished the DG and the NBC success in all of her activities and also wished Nigeria more success in its democratic process.
