Oscar Niemeyer Is 102 Years Old And Still Working

One of the greatest architects of the modern era, the Brazilian, Oscar Niemeyer celebrated his 102^nd birthday this week. He designed the Brazilian capital, Brasilia. But more importantly, he reminded on his birthday that he remains a communist, still dedicated to the building of a world that eliminates poverty, exploitation and injustice around the world. He has been my favourite architect for a very long time because he combines his intellectual genius with a passion for social justice. Happy Birthday, Oscar!
