In recent days, the thermometer of Nigerian political life has risen close to the heat of hell, as politicians get reminders of the treachery of their clan. Here is a sampler: Dimeji Bankole assisted with the “doctrine of necessity” to ease Jonathan Goodluck into place as president; Gbenga Daniel delivered Southwest votes for Jonathan’s PDP candidacy. Well, they are now the used condoms of a new level of ambitions. They are headed for a waste bin, unless something else happens. Meanwhile, Bukola Saraki is now re-positioning as a Jonathan “diehard”! Interesting things happen in politics.
