Two Good Examples: Yakowa’s Inauguration Speech And Gombe University’s Convocation

Kaduna’s new governor Patrick Yakowa must be commended for the reasonable speech he gave at his inauguration; making a pledge to be everybody’s leader, he doused the unnecessary tension that built in the days before his inauguration. Similarly, Gombe State University’s first convocation ceremony took place at the weekend. I visited the university last year; it is a beautiful and well-run institution.
